This object explores the poetic and symbolic meaning of the spoon—an everyday item often associated with comfort, care, and nourishment. Unlike the fork or knife, the spoon is soft, maternal, and non-aggressive.
Inspired by personal memories and ancestral warmth, A Spoon for Seven invites reflection on collective nourishment: one person, by feeding themselves, inevitably feeds others. Constructed from seven stainless steel spoons, the piece becomes a metaphor for connection, generosity, and the invisible gestures of care that bind us.

This object is a playful exploration of intimacy and vulnerability in the most ordinary of spaces—the bathroom. A toothbrush designed for two invites us to reflect on shared routines, closeness, and the absurdly tender moments of everyday life.

Between the strange and the affectionate, this project blurs the line between personal space and shared intimacy, turning a private ritual into a humorous and poetic gesture.

In Colombia, kites fill the August sky—colours invade the blue, transforming it into a multicoloured dance. Parks overflow with people who love each other, sharing a single kite: one for two, one for three.

Families enter a delicate choreography, where the flight of the kite depends not only on teamwork but also on the will of the wind—a force that may or may not cooperate.

Kites are ancient. They carry memory, play, and a shared rhythm between people, string, and sky.

Siruma means both “sky” and “stars” in Wayuunaiki, the language spoken by the Wayuu communities in northern Colombia.

This project is inspired by La Guajira and the poetic act of looking up—sitting low, in a posture of comfort and quiet contemplation. Siruma is an invitation to reconnect with the sky, to observe, to slow down, and to experience a moment of stillness that feels almost idyllic.

Universo ouve is An interactive wall that reacts to sound—each word spoken sets a digital galaxy in motion. This poetic installation symbolizes the impact of dialogue on the universe, inviting people to speak, connect, and explore the mysteries of the cosmos in constant movement.

Part of an ongoing collection of interactive walls, this piece is still evolving, just like the conversations it inspires.

Orión al revés is A periscope made to share the sky. These dual-viewing glasses allow two people to gaze at the same point in the stars, connecting their eyes through the cosmos. Face to face, their gazes almost meet—but are gently redirected by mirrors, guiding their attention toward the infinite.

Still in development, this object explores the delicate balance between closeness and distance, capturing the quiet poetry of being together while looking beyond.

Graphic design and art direction for Fundações, the student design magazine of the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria. This project involved developing the visual identity, layout, and editorial concept, aiming to reflect the creative energy and diversity of emerging designers within the academic community.
